Item Description

An aesthetic, corsage-like cluster of very glassy, tan, elongated orthorhombic crystals of olmiite from the NEW, Fall 2008 find at the famous Nchwaning II Mine of South Africa. The "corsage" has super form, is complete all-around and looks stunning on the matrix. This is a very fine example from this find. Olmiite was formerly known as poldervaartite, prior to recent extensive testing.
