Item Description

A very sculptural and aesthetic, two-sided, mounded crust is solidly covered with glistening, light peachy-pink, olmiite botryoids from the NEW, Fall 2008 find at the famous Nchwaning II Mine of South Africa. The botryoids consist of elongated orthorhombic crystals of olmiite. This is an excellent example from this find and it really glows a beautiful rose-red with good light. Olmiite was formerly known as poldervaartite, prior to recent extensive testing.
