Item Description
A lovely specimen of Olivenite from the famous Majuba Hill Mine in Nevada, a Cu-As-Au-Pb-Mo-Ag-Sn-U mine which closed in the late 1970s. This small cabinet specimen features dozens of highly lustrous, very gemmy, olive-green, thin prismatic crystals of Olivenite measuring up to about 3 mm long sitting on Goethite on host rock matrix. The crystals are fantastic under magnification, and we've photographed them with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality.
