Item Description
Very fine, old-time Olivenite from the historic mines of Redruth, Cornwall. The highly lustrous, deep-green, mm-size Olivenite crystals completely line all the pockets within the matrix, with the two dominant pockets being 3 cm and 2 cm across. These pieces are part of a century-old Italian collection that was recently acquired. Its historic nature, aside from the quality of these individual crystals, makes it an important reference specimen for this locale.
