Item Description

Some of the finest example of crystallized Olivenite in the world are those from the Majuba Hill Mine in Nevada. This thumbnail sized specimen features a gorgeous 8 mm "spray" of deep olive-green colored "sword"-shaped blades of Olivenite associated with some smaller secondary crystals on host rock matrix. Great quality as you can see with magnification. A wonderful example of this classic material from this well-known locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1939). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
