Item Description

A good thumbnail specimen featuring classic, resinous, dark olive-green colored prismatic crystals of Olivenite in a radial "spray" off matrix. It's a showy piece and a lovely example of this classic material from Majuba Hill. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6220) mounted in a Willard Perkin "Perky Box" display with his label. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
