Item Description
Appealing representative example festooned with <2 mm sized glassy dark green Olivenite crystals on matrix. The piece has excellent crystal coverage. There is some bruising shown by the color change but the piece is overall in good condition. A nice Olivenite locality specimen that is comparable to the type of material that the Nevada mine has historically produced - this would date to the 1980s or earlier given the Godshaw provenance (Marion was a major Southern California dealer of the time).
