Oligoclase (rare) (custom faceted by Allyce Kosnar)

Item Description

This rare Feldspar species is not often seen in gems from any locality. It is only found in a few places in the world as clean stones. This gem is virtually eye clean, and has quite a bit of "life" to it for a smaller stone. It has a superb quality "Modified Square Brilliant" cut, and actually has a very slight greenish-blue overtone. This is confirmed Oligoclase, and not Anorthite or Orthoclase. This is the real deal, so don't miss out. The stone was cut by Allyce Kosnar in September of 2012. Top quality both in terms of the gem and the expert cutting.
