Sculptural and excellent large okenite and gyrolite on prehnite from the famous extinct Malad Quarry. Soft to the touch, felt-like puffballs of snow-white okenite needles are richly and attractively scattered on the impressive 3-dimensional matrix of intergrown glassy, off-white translucent bladed gyrolite botryoids. The dominating mound is 6.3 cm across. The surprising basal matrix is green prehite. Choice, excellent and showy large combination material from this quarry, that closed 20-30 years ago, due to population growth. Ex Rob Sielecki Collection.
