An uncommonly fine and sculptural gold thumbnail from the famous Grass Valley area of California"s Mother Lode. This aesthetic specimen consists of three, sharp, flattened, octahedral gold crystals beautifully perched atop a slightly folded gold leaf. This excellent piece has a bright, rich yellow-gold patina, that the photos could not capture. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! RARE in this quality. Valued $300-400.
