Item Description
An impressive large plate of translucent, green fluorite octahedrons. The octahedrons reach 6.0 cm and rest on etched quartz. These fluorites came out in modest numbers for only a short time, and have essentially disappeared from the market. It is quite hard now to find nice-looking, undamaged crystals, on or off matrix, and the Chinese dealers value them highly and charge plenty for them. The specimen is in very good shape, overall, with only a bit of bruising to one octo. The modest periphery wear is noted. This striking large piece displays well from several angles. Bright purple fluorescence.
