Item Description

Colorado Quartz Mine golds are some of the very finest crystallized golds in the world and this is a very fine miniature example. Bright, very sharp, hoppered octahedrons and spinel-twins in arborescent form comprise this very aesthetic, two-sided cutie. One side has striking, stacked, hoppered octahedrons with spinel-twinned "leaves" on the upper tips. The other side has fewer octos and spinel-twins and has a more hackly look. Two totally different golds specimens for price of one! Very elegant. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. 21.63 carats or over 4 grams. Valued at $1000.
