Colorado Quartz Mine golds are some of the very finest crystallized golds in the world and this is a very fine thumbnail example. Bright, very sharp, hoppered octahedrons and spinel-twins in arborescent form comprise this very aesthetic, two-sided cutie. One side has striking, stacked, hoppered octahedrons with spinel-twins on one edge. The other side has much larger, flattened, spinel-twins with very few hoppered octahedrons.
