Item Description

A nice specimen of the well-known "Apache Tears" from the Picketpost Mountain area, near Superior, Arizona. This material is volcanic glass / obsidian, and with good backlighting, you can see it's actually quite gemmy when backlit, resembling a rich Smoky Quartz hue. The piece weighs 25.10 grams.
