Item Description
Niobophyllite is a rare complex inosilicate and member of the Astrophyllite Group, only found in a few localities in the world. This piece is from the Type Locality in Canada, and is one of only two pieces I can remember seeing of this material. This piece features micro platy / foliated golden colored micro crystals of Niobophyllite in an Albite-Arfvedsonite host rock. Very rare to be sure, and nearly impossible to find on the market. A great chance for a rarities collector to pick up a piece of this hard to find material.
