bi-colored Pyromorphite stalactite (Soregaroli Coll.)

A very nifty pyromorphite stalacitite from this famed locale. The parallel-growth stalactites are composed of sparkly, translucent, beautiful bi-colored prisms. Apple-green terminations cap the honey-brown prisms. Both ends of the stalactite were contacted against the vug walls. One end reveals the hollow tubes, where the precipitating lead-rich fluids flowed! Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with very few broken prisms, for such crystal density. Fascinating, rare and choice material from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Les Farges closed in 1981. Valued at $750-900.
