This material was labeled as Chloanthite for many years, and used to be a valid species, but has now been discredited. They are now Nickelskutterudite, which is an approved valid species, and the nickel analogue of Ferroskutterudite and Skutterudite. This is a notably impressive and robust cabinet sized specimen of Nickelskutterudite from the historic Schlema area in Saxony featuring a rich coverage of fine sharp, lustrous, bright silvery metallic crystal clusters on matrix.
