Item Description
Nickellotharmeyerite is an ultra rare hydrated calcium, nickel, iron, cobalt, arsenate and this rich specimen is from the Type Locality in the famous Schneeberg District. The newer species was approved in 1999. Light brown microcrystals and stringers are richly scattered on all sides of the quartz-rich matrix. Very rare and very seldom available material. Not pretty to look at, but certainly a rich and highly representative example of the rare arsenate. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
