Item Description

Sharply terminated, highly lustrous, jet-black neptunite crystals with pretty hints of desirable wine-red color are aesthetically scattered on the flat serpentine matrix. The upright crystal is about 1.3 cm. The starkly contrasting patch of snow-white natrolite is a typical and fine compliment. A broken crystal is noted in the interior along with several on the periphery. This remains classic and excellent older material from an East Coast collection and comes with a torn Walker's Minerals label located on the Avenue of the Americas in New York City probably dating from 1940s to 60s.
