Neptunite on Natrolite

This is a dramatic, sculptural, and highly unusual cluster of Neptunite crystals from the world's best locality for the species. The manner in which these Neptunites, up to 2.6 cm and lustrous, was etched has created a geometry that has the sharp Neptunite crystals literally spanning the chasm of Natrolite. I've seen lots of good Neptunite specimens, but not one quite like this in my 30+ years of dealing. It's a very cool, aesthetic specimen for the shape and style ; of course also from a famous, and now closed, location. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums. Valued $1500-2000
