Neptunite and Natrolite

Lustrous, jet-black prismatic neptunite crystals are aesthetically set on the sculptural small cabinet serpentine matrix covered dramatically with a large patch of contrasting snow-white natrolite. The large, flat-lying terminated crystal is 2.6 cm, the upright nearby crystal is 1.4 cm tall and the crystal at the other end is 1.8 cm long. The broken crystal on the periphery is minimally detracting to this very showy combination. The so-called California State Gem Mine or Dallas Gem Mine is famous for Benitoite (Type Locality and State gem) and Neptunite. Classic combination material with several display views. A fine large display piece.
