Item Description

An unusual and rarely seen specimen featuring pinkish-beige Nepheline crystals and outlined phenocrysts in tinguaite porphyry matrix. I've never had one of these to offer, and they certainly are RARE on the market, as I could only find one other piece online for a reference. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4608). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
