The Poudrette Quarry has produced a world-class variety of common, rare and unique mineral species. This showy, mounded, multi-sided piece qualifies as an excellent combination specimen. Jackstraw and radiating clusters of sharp, tan, natrolite crystal crystals cover all sides of the snow-white microcline matrix. Diagnostic reddish-brown rhodochrosite bladed rosettes are a classic and important accent to this fine combination specimen from the Robert Whitmore Collection.
