Item Description

A 2.2 cm wide vug filled with "needle"-like crystals of white Natrolite is set into basalt host rock matrix from the obscure locality at Kamloops Lake in British Columbia, Canada. Very attractive up close and very hard to find on the market. Any Zeolite collector should jump on this one. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1993). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
