Item Description
Natrolite is a fairly well-known zeolite minerals, but the crystals are often opaque and chalky white, and unfortunately the transparent colorless crystals are so thin, that they cannot be faceted. The famous Chimney Rock Quarry in New Jersey many years ago produced what are certainly the finest GEM QUALITY crystals of Natrolite, which were notably thick for the species allowing them to be faceted into excellent gemstones. This stone is an exceptionally rare, nearly eye clean, "collector's" stone. The cut on this stone is a "Narrow Barion Rectangle" cut. If you're a serious gem collector, you need one of these in your collection, especially if you like to collect gems from North America, or simply from the United States.
