Natrolite (rare)

Item Description

Natrolite is one of the very few facettable zeolite species in the world. Most crystals are often too thin to produce a stone of any consequence, but the crystals from the famous Chimney Rock / Bound Brook Quarry in New Jersey that came out years ago were actually rather thick and GEMMY for the species. This gem is a rare, virtually eye clean, colorless stone with an "Emerald" cut. If you're a serious gem collector, I would qualify this as a "collector's stone", and it would make a great addition to any gem collection especially if you like to collect stones from North America, or simply from the United States.
