Item Description

Any New Jersey trap rock collector will tell you that some of the largest best Natrolite crystals in the world come from this famous locality. These crystals are well known for their large size, excellent form, and attractive crystals. This 2-specimen set features a pair of fine quality, sharp, prismatic, single gemmy crystals of Natrolite. One of the crystals is WATER CLEAR in areas, while the other is still gemmy, but not completely transparent. No damage, and both pieces are fine display specimens from this classic New Jersey trap rock locality. Valued at $500 for the set. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7065 and #7066). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
