Item Description
Dramatic sprays of white natrolite prisms explode from the striking large vug in the very sculptural basalt matrix in this outstanding specimen from the well-known and extinct Traprock Millington Quarry. Crystals in the dominating large spray reach 3.8 cm, large for the locale. See the 2000 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 31, No. 5. Collected by well-known New Jersey field collector and collector, Frank Imbriacco. Ex Eric Stanchich Collection. The quarry is famous for excellent natrolite specimens and this is an exceptional and artistic large example.
