Item Description

An incredibly rare specimen of the complex zinc aluminum sulfate Natroglaucocerinite with Glaucocerinite and Zincowoodwardite from the famous Lavrion District in Greece. As of the posting of this auction, it is not clear as the whether or not Natroglaucocerinite is an actual species, as it was approved by the IMA in 1995, but the description has yet to be published. The Natroglaucocerinite is a blue green hue as is Glaucocerinite and Zincowoodwardite. From the collection of Paolo Matioli.
