Item Description
Here we have a rare and beautiful specimen of Natrochalcite a sodium copper sulfate mineral, first found at the famous Chuquicamata Mine. . This piece is a wonderful example featuring sharp, well-forme micro crystals of strong green colored Natrochalcite on matrix. The label from Mauricio and Rossana Dini that accompanies the piece describes the piece as being "very rich!!", and I agree as they are seldom seen in such a healthy coverage like this. We've photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality.
