It doesn't seem so unlikely that a common element like Silver should be fairly common from a world-famous locality like Langban, but this is honestly the first piece of this material that I can remember offering in the auctions. Perhaps it's rarer than I realized, but for a species as prominent as Silver from one of the world's most prolific localities, this is a big deal! The piece features a "leaf" of Native Silver aesthetically sitting on host rock matrix. The rich patina shows that the piece is an antique, though there is no informatio as to when it was mined.
