Item Description
A very rare and highly desirable, shiny native platinum nugget from the placer deposits of Trinity County, California. THIS IS A RARE AND OLD LOCALITY FOR PLACER PLATINUM NUGGETS. It is a typical placer "flake", and so while broad, is thin. Mass is just about 0.8 grams. Older material and seldom available on the market. Ex Carlton Davis Collection (he was my own mentor long ago, and bought much in the 1940s-1960s).
