Native Lead with Calcite (old $1500 label)

Native lead in any form is extremely rare. This old, classic small cabinet piece is from the most famous locality for Native Lead specimens - Langban, Sweden. The Lead here ranges from gray to black, and it is associated with clear to white Calcite. The lead forms a huge, thick wave form at the top of the specimen, and it is a very hefty piece as it is so rich (287 grams). This fine, large specimen was originally priced at $1,500.
