Item Description
Native lead in any form is extremely rare. This old, classic and sculptural combination specimen is from the most famous locality for lead fine lead specimens - Langban, Sweden. Lead-gray metallic blebs and platy masses are richly scattered on the hefty, sparkly, microcrystalline manganese oxide ore matrix. Rich areas of glassy, colorless hydrocerussite are a fine compliment and contrast. Excellent material from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Valued at $400-500.
