Item Description
Native lead in any form is extremely rare. This old, classic and sculptural specimen is from the most famous locality for lead fine lead specimens - Langban, Sweden. This piece looks distinctly like a fish, with large head, forked tail and dosal and ventral fins! One side has a platy, layered look, while the other side is massive and layered. Excellent material from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in 1978. Heavy lead at 255 grams.
