Native lead in any form is extremely rare. This old, classic and sculptural specimen is from the most famous locality for lead fine lead specimens - Langban, Sweden. This piece has a weird biomorphic look or else is a boot with a protective plate in front of the ankle. The plate is layered/flattened, with the rest of the piece being knobby. Excellent material
