Most native iron is extra-terrestrial, found in meteroites. Bright metallic flecks of native iron are richly peppered in the basalt matrix. Old material, mostly recovered the late 1800s and rarely on the market. 30 grams mass. Ex Dr. Francesco Bedogne Collection # 1028 and acquired in 1980.
