Native Gold on Bornite ore (old - rare)

California native gold on sulfide specimens are rare compared to the gold with guartz pieces from the famous Mother Lode. Bright, warm, layered, hackly gold richly and attractively courses through the microcrystalline to massive bornite ore matrix. The sparkly microcrystalline sulfide matrix has modest iridescence. Undoubtably late 1800s to early 1900s material, with the faded old label, although I cannot. Very seldom on the market in this combination. A must for the species or locality collector.
