Item Description

A striking and superlative, floater, crystallized native copper specimen from the Itauz Mine and the Sal Avella Copper Collection. This cutie looks just like an insect with an elongated body and long legs. The "body" is a very sharp, doubly terminated spinel-twinned crystal with a nice patina. The "legs" consist of very sharp, tetrahexahedral crystals in spinel-twinned form. Either side of this amazing specimen looks great. Sal valued this piece at $225 on his own card - from many years ago.
