Item Description
A damatic, very sculptural, old-time, CABINET, copper specimen from the Sal Avella Copper Collection. The form is strikingly amoeboid. The intergrown copper crystals range from sharp tetrahexahedrons to crudely euhedral. Sparkly, bright green epidote, variable amounts of rust-red cuprite, a variable patina and embedded matrix really give this old-timer added character. A 2.7 cm copper crystal looks just like a dolphin. Classic and showy large material from Copper Country with many display possibilities. Valued at $750-900.
