Native Copper with Calcite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

A gorgeous and uncommon specimen of Native Copper from Tsumeb featuring beautifully crystallized dendritic "leaves" with a fine patina associated with small gemmy colorless rhombic Calcite associated with prismatic stark yellow Mimetite on matrix. If you look at the piece under magnification, the Copper "leaves" are very eye-catching. The color contrast, associations and the fact that this is older material from Tsumeb makes it a very desirable display piece for a collector of native elements or Tsumeb minerals.
