Item Description
A striking and rare, 3-dimensional filagree of intergrown, copper oxide-coated, tetrahexahedral copper crystals from this well-known mine. Most copper from the White Pine Mine was flat, as it formed in the shale laminations. This cutie must have been deposited in a vuggy area and to find a well-crystallized piece, such as this, is very uncommon. It must have been a significant find, as even the mine level and unit area are known.
