Native Copper (thick and rare)

Item Description

Most native copper specimens from this less well-known Pennsylvania copper locality are generally sheet-like. This impressive, sculptural and hefty piece has substantial thickness to it, making it a rare example. The nubby surface of rounded subhedral crystals on the front and scattered blue to green copper oxide crusts adds character, color and pizzazz. Mass is 880 grams or over 1.9 pounds.
