Item Description

Native copper specimens are RARE and mineral specimens in general are uncommon from this well-known Bisbee mine. A beautiful lattice work of flat spinel-twinned copper crystals strikingly rises up from one side of the gossan matrix plate. Many more copper crystals richly encrust both sides of the matrix. Rare, aesthetic and desirable old-time material from the Dartmouth College Collection. The numbers match. A MUST for the Bisbee collector with a documented provenance.
