Native Copper (rare locale!)

Item Description

Dense, almost anatomical, clusters of subhedral Copper crystals richly coat the expanse of this small cab from Spania Dolina (once called Herrengrund). Very likely an old, historical specimen from the 1800's, the brownish-red color and interesting form, on both a small and large scale, create quite a nice aesthetic. Formerly in the collection of Frank W. Hess, this was #7611 in Kay's collection. She acquired this in 1975 from well-known dealer Larry Conklin.
