Item Description

A dramatic, large, platy sheet of branching native copper crystals from Ajo. Most of the sharp crystals on the slightly curved, very sculptural piece are tetrahexahedrons, but there are some spinel-twins. The striking filagree-like sections, variable patina and bit of attached rhyolite matrix at the base really add character to this excellent, very showy and large, two-sided copper specimen from this famous Arizona locale.
