Native Copper (ex Pat Gross and Rich Kosnar Collections)

Item Description

This is one of the few specimens of Copper that we've had to offer from Franklin. I have photographed the small crystals under the microscope to better illustrate them, but this is truly a micro specimen. The piece comes from the famous New Jersey collection of Richard Kosnar, who obtained the specimen from noted collector Pat Gross in the early 1990s. The piece still rests in Pat's micro mounting box with her handwriting.
