A fantastic and sculptural old-time matrix native copper specimen from Copper Country. This surreal piece looks like a running lizard with a large upturned head and body, extended legs and striking curved "tail"! The tail is mostly a large stout curved copper wire. The "legs" and "feet", attached to the wire, are partially crystallized and the "head" and "body" are a basalt fragment. That's blue tack on the basalt.
