Item Description

Native copper specimens directly attributable to this well-known mine at Broken Hill are uncommon. This is a very sculptural, 3-dimensional, arborescent specimen of branching limbs of botryoidal copper. The pristine floater has a most striking variability of appearance, with one side being a matte rust-brown and the other side having a lustrous, rich copper patina. Undoubtably old-time materia from this famed locale, but no proof. Value??
