Item Description
Native copper comes in many forms and shapes. This is certainly one of the most spectacular LARGE CABINET specimens, that I have seen from the famous Mine Pine Mine of Michigan. The impressive arborescent form of this flattened piece is very sculptural, artistic and has a biomorphic shape. The crudely crystallized copper, with nice patina, looks like an animal standing up on its haunches with the long tail extending out behind. The small head and arms are definitely visible.
